Isaiah Wilson, 33, of Charlottesville, is facing charges after passing out behind the wheel of his truck and then putting responding deputies through their paces on Thursday morning.
Shortly after 1:30 a.m. on June 27, a member of the Stafford County Sheriff's Office responded to the intersection of Warrenton Road and Cambridge Street in Falmouth, where they found Wilson passed out.
According to the sheriff's office, when Wilson was stirred, he began to drive off, but then stopped again in the middle of the roadway.
The deputy made contact with the driver, who initially said he had nothing to drink, but later reversed course when it was determined his blood alcohol content was through the roof.
Wilson was charged with driving under the influence with a BAC between .15 and .20, as well as stopping on the highway. He is being held at the Rappahannock Regional Jail on a $2,000 secured bond.
